Ray Wagner: Lead Vocalist
Ray Wagner comes from local stock. His mother, Catherine Hunt is a native of a small village near Vale Summit, MD called Loartown while his father, Joseph (deceased) originally hailed from Bedford, PA. Joe earned a living working for his family lumber business in Bedford but entertained himself and others playing guitar and singing, which is where Ray derives his talent from.
Ray got his first 'break' in the local music scene back in 1983 with Herman Fiorita and Francie Lewis in a band called "Country Explosion". The group performed a mix of country, rock and roll oldies, with a smattering of Top 40 rock. Other musical projects on his resumé include "Trouvére", "50/50", "Revenge", "Foul Play", and his most successful group to date, "Bottom Line".
Ray's favorite bands include Rush, Chicago, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, Green Day, All-American Rejects, and U2. He loves superhero movies especially Spiderman, Spiderman 2, and the X-Men trilogy. His favorite TV shows are "Heroes", and "X-Files" and considers "Family Guy", "South Park", and "Beavis & Butthead" his guilty pleasures.
Ray is very focused on maintaining his health and is a fitness buff, but admits that two of his favorite foods, pizza and chocolate, tend to undermine his efforts from time to time.
Ray works full-time as a technical officer for The Reeded Edge, a rare coin and collectibles firm in Cumberland, MD. He continues to work part-time for GO-106 where he hosts the overnight show from Midnight to 5 a.m. 7 days a week.
He's a very friendly, easy-going guy that will liven up the party and he loves hanging out with the crowd.
