Aaron Kerr: Lead Guitar

     Aaron Kerr was born and raised in Frostburg, MD and like Ray, is a graduate of Beall High School. He comes from an extended family of talented local musicians. For his 16th birthday, Aaron received a Fender Stratocaster guitar for a present under somewhat dubious circumstances. Aaron also plays a Gibson Les Paul 1960s reissue.

     One of Aaron's longstanding musician friendships is with Dave Hitchins, Paw Paw, WV. They initially met in 1998 and co-founded "Junkyard Dogs". JYD would later disband in 2003, only to reform again in July 2004. The "Dogs" called it quits for the last time in December of 2006. Although Dave moved on to another project, "Thunderstruck", Aaron and Dave still keep in touch and are the co-organizers for a summer music festival called "Hitchfest" which features many local acts as part of an outdoor venue.

    Aaron is the electronic and gadget guy of the band as well as the booking agent. He is easily the only band member with a "007 Cell Phone". With all the attachments and accessories he has for his cell phone, there are very few things that he can't do with it!

    Aaron's day job is one driving a delivery truck for Fed-Ex Ground. Aaron is married with 2 beautiful daughters, Lauren,6, and Emily, 2. The two things that you can get into long conversations with Aaron are Led Zeppelin and Star Wars. He's an avid fan of both.
